Cleanup Day

I’ve been trying to fight the spam commentary and spam  registrations for a long time without success, but it’s been a losing battle. Trying a new round of prevention tools and, in the meantime, have swept the commentary and user sections for crap.

I apologize if any legitimate comments got caught up in the sweep, when going through nearly 30,000 comments it’s difficult to pick the wheat from the chaff.

In any case, good riddance, the commentary section is much cleaner now. Comments will require a screening now, for which I apologize. I’d tried to avoid that because I am not a fan of it, but spammers seem to have evolved a resistance to most available pesticides. Once a comment is approved, there should be no problem with future comments for anyone.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any problems.
